The photo speaks volumes about my favorite place to run. Running by the water quiets my mind to focus on the simplicity of running for the sake of running. When things don’t go as planned, running is consistent, stable, and motivating plus starting the day with a run really does start the day as a new beginning. Today was another day where my propensity to stay in motion while already in motion got me through the final 3 miles. Dinner last night probably would have given me the extra fuel boost to finish even stronger. I was grateful for the mojo bar (if you haven’t tried they are really good not chemical tasting like most bars), pear, tea and GU this morning as I probably wouldn’t have finished. Oh in my car again, something peaceful about writing right after run and the Black Eyed Peas song is on the radio, which I love! 12 miles and done. Half-marathon, here we come, ready or not….
