Last night was no exception when I finally tried the recipe for Vanilla Curry Caramel Corn. The recipe was super easy and the result was decadently delicious.
I discovered this recipe by Cat Cora in Oprah magazine many months ago. We have a Whirly-Pop Popcorn Popper, which has been used sporadically over the years. As we continue to watch expenses and also eat a bit more healthfully, we have been trying to use the Whirly-Pop instead of microwaving popcorn.
For a special treat, I thought it would be great to whip up this popcorn. I really liked the tip that she offered to oil the bowl as well as the spoon as it made it much easier to mix the popcorn with the caramel.
If you are looking for a sweet treat, this popcorn is a winner. Although, be warned, it will go fast.
