Last weekend, I headed to Half Moon Bay albeit a bit nervous. On a whim, I had signed myself up for a vision board retreat in early January as I was trying to figure out what next.
I am not completely on board with the whole vision board concept in that I do not believe that if I put a house on my vision board it will come to me, however I believe that putting things down in a list or board format helps to prioritize things. When I headed to the retreat, I was not sure what to expect.
A life coach, a yoga instructor and an art instructor led the retreat. It was a beautiful day in Half Moon Bay, which I think helped keep me inspired. I appreaciated learning a technique from the art instructor that you could hide your vision board beneath a decorative cover. It made it feel a bit more private as well as elegant.
Parts of the retreat resonated with me more than others, but mostly I was glad to step outside my box and try something new.
