Ever since I was little, I have had a thing about writing thank you notes. I prefer to write them promptly after receiving a gift. Okay, so maybe this stems from the fact that when I was little, I was not allowed to play with my gifts until I had written my thank you notes. Kinda becomes ingrained in you then…
As an adult, it has become something for which I am known. Even working for families as a nanny and personal assistant, the families for whom I worked were impressed that I wrote notes to them. It is decidedly more challenging to get the notes to someone promptly when you see them nearly every day.
While I personally love giving and receiving handwritten notes, I am a huge fan of Paperless Post when a handwritten note is just not possible for one reason or another. I love that they have made the envelope actually open.
As I have been hosting open houses for my new business as a real estate agent in Phoenix, I have been sending out thank you notes to people that visit. I am really fond of the notes that I selected as they tie in the colors of my new company, Green Street Real Estate, Inc., with a decidedly personal flare.

So pretty, right? Almost like you received it in the mail…
What I would like to know is do you send thank you notes?
