Sometimes life gives you more than you can handle. Ok, maybe it happens more than we realize. Over the summer, I made a commitment to get healthy by January. Then (gratefully) my business took off and the getting healthy piece moved to secondary. Still hiking and what have you, but it was not my number 1 priority.
The thing I am learning is that when you set a goal, you really need to make that your focus and trust that everything else will fall into place. It’s really not possible to have 5 #1 goals. It is possible to have 5 goals just not all of them at #1.
After another bout with my favorite darkness (sarcasm), I had the aha moment that GET HEALTHY needs to be #1. I signed myself up for a half-marathon and came up with an awesome game plan to achieve this goal. Sure life will continue to bring challenges my way, but now I have a plan to get me to my goal.
