A few weeks ago, a high school friend of mine invited a group of women to join a closed Facebook group called “What’s for Dinner?”
It has been the best Facebook group that I have joined yet, seriously. It is women (& men!) being honest about the struggle with what to cook for dinner. It’s people studying for grad school, with kids, with partners, you know people from all walks of life who want to nourish themselves and their families.
At first, it seemed like it would be hard to think of what’s for dinner each night, but then it got real, really quickly, and we each started sharing about our struggles with what to cook and eat.
Let’s face it some days, weeks, and months are easier than others. I have not been cooking as much lately as I am eagerly awaiting getting my tonsils taken out for good, which has resulted in lack of sleep, as well as embracing my new role within a larger company.
Bless my husband for being able to support us and enable us to eat out a bit more. We have been combining that with our infamous freezer foodie meals.
In honor of “what’s for dinner,” gonna try to piece together a few life lately moments with dinners that we have enjoyed recently.
