Another post from the series of emails that I sent in 2014 as we navigated starting an IVF cycle….
Yesterday I felt a bit down, probably from overdoing it by unpacking the last few kitchen boxes on Sunday and mucking up my beautiful island with a plethora of glasses that I forgotten about or perhaps dealing with IKEA nonsense….Anyhow, I turned things around today and enjoyed making my very own pot of herbs (basil, lemon thyme, and spearmint) at our Club this morning, which is gracing the picture window in our kitchen. A bit of fresh air, getting my hands dirty, and some sunshine were just what the doctor ordered. 🙂
The meds have to be refrigerated, so the company asks that you are home all day. Thankfully FedEx must have heard my wishes and dropped them off after I returned home. I even squeezed in grocery shopping where I stocked up on easy to prep meals for next week.
Last week I attempted both Broker Law and Finance school exams, but my mind wasn’t all there what with all of this on my mind. I missed passing each one by under 10 questions. Taking a different approach this time and studying for each one separately, so I will take Finance this week and Law next week. Since it had been 4 years since I had taken an exam like that, I figure last week was good practice. Must exercise the brain and retrain it for exams, right?
Tomorrow is our pre-IVF appointment where they will do an exam and also train us again on the medication protocol. Since we got so much information last time, it feels like a refresher will be good.
